How to Manage Multiple Pay Schedules and Budget Around Them

Budget Bestie allows you to budget based on your payday schedule, offering flexibility that traditional monthly budgets lack. This feature is particularly beneficial if you receive multiple payments throughout the month.

Setting up your payday schedule is easy within Budget Bestie, even if you have multiple jobs or income sources. We recommend choosing the payment schedule that occurs most frequently. For example, if you’re paid on the 1st and 15th of the month for one job and every Friday for another, we suggest setting up a weekly payment schedule for every Friday.

If income from one job arrives before your scheduled Friday, you have two options. Record the income and leave it ready to stuff until Friday, or stuff it now. If you stuff now, check the next stuffing date before saving. The app calculates it from your schedule and the current period; if the planned Friday is still in the future, it keeps that date.
