when the app doesn’t match your bank

If you missed some transactions, what the app says you have won’t match your bank accounts and the cash you budget with. Fix it when you start a new budget.

First, add what you missed, if you can find it. On budget recap, tap you spent and then add transaction. For income, tap you made and then add income. If you made is $0.00, tap tap to add income. The recap updates.

correct what you have

If you can’t find what’s missing, tell the app what you really have.

1. Add up your bank accounts and any cash you budget with.
2. Start a new budget.
3. On budget recap, tap the amount under you have.
4. Tap ⌫ until the amount is zero.
5. Type your total.
6. Tap done.
7. Tap continue until you reach stuff your budget.
8. Stuff your envelopes until remaining is $0.00. If you have less than the app thought, take money out of envelopes.
9. Tap continue.
10. On review, tap stuff it.

The new total saves only when you tap stuff it. If you leave with cancel, nothing changes. The difference doesn’t count as spending or income.
