A bonus, a refund or pay from a second job can come in before your next budget. You have three choices.

keep it for your next budget

1. Tap + (add transaction) in the tab bar.
2. Tap income at the top.
3. Type the amount.
4. Leave stuff into an envelope empty. The button now says ready to stuff when you budget next above add income.
5. Tap add income.

You’ll see income added. On the envelopes tab, a card shows how much is unstuffed. You stuff it the next time you start a new budget.

put it straight into one envelope

1. Tap + (add transaction) in the tab bar.
2. Tap income at the top.
3. Type the amount.
4. Tap stuff into an envelope.
5. Choose the envelope.
6. Tap the button that starts with add income to.

The envelope’s balance goes up by the amount.

stuff it now

On the envelopes tab, tap stuff now on the unstuffed card, or start a new budget.

This ends your current budget period and starts a new one. If you start before your planned budget day, budget next on keeps that day, so your schedule doesn’t move. Check it on budget timing.
