Budget Bestie allows you to budget based on your payday schedule, offering flexibility that traditional monthly budgets lack. This feature is particularly beneficial if you receive multiple payments throughout the month.

Setting up your payday schedule is easy within Budget Bestie, even if you have multiple jobs or income sources. We recommend choosing the payment schedule that occurs most frequently. For example, if you're paid on the 1st and 15th of the month for one job and every Friday for another, we suggest setting up a weekly payment schedule for every Friday.

In situations where your income from one job doesn't align with the scheduled Friday, you have two options. You can record the income in the app and wait to budget it until your next payday, or you can start a new budget. If you opt for a new budget, ensure your schedule remains unchanged, with the next Friday set as your budget date. The app may attempt to update the schedule automatically if you're budgeting outside your regular period.
